About Te Tihi Noho
The Trust recently renovated what used to be the forestry single man's quarters and now operates a comfortable accommodation facility on the whenua. Nestled within the Pouto Peninsula landscape, Te Tihi Noho offers a unique opportunity to experience life on the Trust's land.
The accommodation consists of 6 separate rooms with shared ablution and kitchen facilities, making it ideal for groups, whanau gatherings, or individual travellers seeking an authentic rural experience.
Situated on the north head of the Kaipara Harbour, guests can enjoy the stunning views across the harbour and the Tasman Sea, with access to the surrounding farmland and native ngahere.
